See how commercials (hedgers) vs non-commercials (large speculators) are positioned long/short in any futures market (gold, crude, E-mini S&P, treasuries, FX, etc.), plus net positioning and week-over-week trend. Use for swing/position bias and contrarian extremes.

The CFTC COT (Futures Positioning) skill is one of 25+ pre-wired TradeLoop integrations that any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex CLI, and ChatGPT desktop — can call out of the box. How to connect

CFTC COT (Futures Positioning) needs a provider API key to talk to cftc. Connect it from the TradeLoop dashboard:

1. Run curl -fsSL https://tradeloop.top/install.sh | sh on macOS / Linux (or the PowerShell command on Windows).
2. Run tradeloop login to create your account and a device-bound encryption key.
3. Visit tradeloop.top/connect and authorize CFTC COT (Futures Positioning).
4. Run tradeloop update to sync the skill + credentials to every installed AI client.
